Life Specialty Coatings Product Demo February 10th in Santa Fe Springs

Life Specialty Coatings announced their first product demo of the year at their headquarters in Santa Fe Springs CA.

Located at 12927 Sunshine Avenue in Santa Fe Springs, the demo will start at 9 am and run through till 1pm. Come for some of come for all, reps will be showing how to install their AL system the AL-flex system MC system and the FM system as well as discussing decorative overlays with stains and some of their new products that they are introducing.

The schedule has been announced for this years JLC Live Residential Construction Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland Oregon. The show returns for it’s fifth year in Portland and what will be our third year being a featured speaker in Portland. This show will mark our fifth JLC Live show we’ve presented at.

The big change for this show though is I am putting on two seminars this year! Seminar Descriptions

Fundamentals of Seamless Decking & Waterproofing Systems
This hands-on demonstration and seminar covers the methods and techniques you need to successfully install Mer-Ko’s waterproofing and decking systems. Materials and application techniques used in Mer-Ko’s waterproofing membranes, underlayments, pedestrian, vehicular and flat roof decking systems are reviewed, as well as basic project considerations, flashing details, and how to select the proper systems and topcoats for a project.

Decorative Coatings & Accents
This hands-on demonstration and seminar covers the methods and techniques you need to successfully install Mer-Ko’s decorative coating systems. Materials and application techniques used in Mer-Ko’s decorative coating line are reviewed, in addition to various accents and artistic affects (i.e., Antiquing Gels, Antique Release Agents, Kolor Packs, etc.).

Lunch is provided at all seminars in conjunction with interactive discussions on topics impacting project site efficiency and application success.

Upon completion of the seminar, new participants are eligible to complete the application process to become a Mer-Ko Currently Listed Applicator. For those who hold an active status as a Mer-Ko Currently Listed Applicator, attendance at any of these sessions qualifies for renewal of your status. Life Paint Presents Training/Demo at Miners Hardware in Atascadero Thursday June 3rd

Miners Ace Hardware and Life Paint, the manufacturer’s of Life Deck branded decking, epoxy and concrete coatings, will present a “How To” Demo on Thursday morning starting at 1030 am and going until 1230.

Maury Jessner, sales rep for Life Paint, will be doing the demonstration.

This is a good demo for DIY’ers and pro’s alike to see how decking and epoxy products are applied.
